Welcome to the DAV Website
The DAV is a non-profit association which exists to promote debate. It
is the peak debating body in Victoria and runs large competitions for
adults and for schools across Victoria. It provides training and
resources for debaters, teachers and adjudicators.
Playoff 1 topics
- A and B Grade: Secret topic
- C Grade: That we should ban video games that glorify violence
- D Grade: That we should stop all testing on animals
Playoff 2 topics
- A and B Grade: Secret topic
- C Grade: That we should ban alternative medicine
- D Grade: That children under the age of 16 should be prohibited from modelling
N.B. There may not be debates from all grades at both playoffs.
